Please support forest school for all ages and abilities
Would you like to help support our community while enhancing local people's relationship with the natural world?
Donations to Shared Earth Learning really make a difference in people's lives!
Most of our sessions are for children and adults who normally don't have access to such activities.
We believe that all of us have the potential to do well if the right support is available.
Children and adults can be caught in a merry-go-round of boredom, low self-esteem, and lack of direction. This can turn into feelings of isolation and resentment. It can negatively impact us; at school, at home, in our community and at work.
Many children who are struggling in schools can really benefit from spending some time outdoors in a supportive environment. One of the main things we focus on is emotional literacy; recognising feelings and knowing how to manage them. In both our child and adult sessions there are many other benefits including a sense of belonging and usefulness, connecting with nature and with other people, and learning new skills.

What your donation could support.
We need funds to improve and maintain our infrastructure, to develop new projects, and to pay for spare socks!
You can help us make sure we can continue providing support where it is most needed.
So what kind of things do we need?
Waterproof clothing and warm socks for those that need to borrow them. Being cold and wet makes learning impossible!
Funds to pay for a replacement polytunnel skin and shelter.
Manure and tools. Growing food and building things is hard with hands and enthusiasm alone! For example, a saw costs £15.
We would also love to provide more subsidised places for our holiday forest school sessions for those who can’t afford the full price. Giving £20 can enable a family to pay just £10 for a day session.
Shared Earth Learning is a charitable benefit society, aiming to nurture a love of nature.
